    When reflecting on Baton Rouge General's Year 2009, People come to mind. Without question, our hospital has some of the best technology in the nation, and even in the world, but it's our family of experts with big hearts and strong minds that makes the mark. 

    Our People have driven patient satisfaction scores consistently to the top of the charts; our People have physically grown our hospital to nearly double in size and capabilities; our People have seamlessly transitioned the organization to becoming one of the nation's most advanced hospitals for information technology and finally, our People have touched countless lives in our Community of Caring by dedicating countless hours of personal time and assets, exceeding $1.1 million dollars.  These accomplishments are amazing; our People are even more so.

    Clearly, our People have a passion for othersExceptional, compassionate care warms every room and hallway... it's an attitude that exudes grace under pressure; a willingness to go the extra mile; empathy and respect that is evident in the way we treat patients, visitors and each other.
